Creating a space to host “TEDthinkers” who help inspire innovative ideas for Hungary, and more importantly Budapest. Developing the Headquarters of TED in Europe and access, help, advice to European analysts, scientists, artists and many more. This would help attract interesting and innovative ideas from people who study/investigate subjects like sustainability, economy, politics, freedom of speech, creative thinking and many more controversial and innovative subjects which give many opportunities to sustainable development of every country. As Hungary has a central geographical location and an interesting geology, with the big number hot springs, this is a subject worth developing and investigating further than what it has been so far. Therefore the analyst, would apply through TED for a geology residency and selected in a processes similar to the TEDfellowship.

Spaces in the project are divided equally to private and public spaces. The private spaces are used by the TED-ers, the HQ on the top floor overlooking the entire complex where ideas are born and developed. The archive room, is where data from resident-analysts are stored, work in development and archives of previews related works. The geology lab, where the analysts work to develop research and new ways of looking at a subject that seems to only be studied and not developed further. The one thing that always exists in a geology lab and referenced daily is the Periodic Element table, therefore, the glazed facade of the space has a large shelving unit with the exact number of squares as the P.E. table and on each shelve an object that has the according element displayed. The Periodic Element shelve is also viewed from the outside. Children have access to the geology garden, where they can collect elements hidden in the earth; then they can try and understand from the P.E. shelve where the element goes. The analyst & speaker break spaces are for the guest speakers and the resident analysts to have conversations and get to know each other, agreements resulting in friendships and disagreements in discoveries. The accommodation unit can host two people or two couples.

The Public spaces begin from the entrance where the reception and cloakroom are located.

The cloakroom has a mechanism like a fairy wheel, coats, bags and hats are hung on the hungers attached to the rails, this rails lead to the top part of the toilets, which is glazed, leaving the stored garments kept on top of the toilets and in view when someone is using the toilet.

Entering you can choose to enter the courtyard and see the auditorium, listen to a lecture happening, or take the elevator or stairs to the Gallery on the 1st and 2nd floor, where work of the on-schedule speaker will be displayed and explained further than the 15-minute talk. The seminar spaces, are for a smaller audience lecture, used more in the winter than in the summer, but in the summer it can open up and be part of the auditorium. Then there is the library and restaurant. The library is free for anyone and can be used to find a subject that interests anyone, the search data is then gathered at the HQ and the next visiting speaker is decided.
