This project was introduced as a continuation of the previous Nomad project. Therefore, I chose to continue with exploring the idea of piracy, however this time it was more about the contemporary idea of piracy. After a lot of research and because of the recent campain to stop online piracy, Stop Online Piracy Act, SOPA, I decided to create a building that would camouflage pirates! Meaning, on the exterior it would look like a BBC department (with BBC employees ignorant about the real purpose of the building) and in the core of the building internet pirates would live and work using the BBCs' information and equipment.
One of the most interesting videos I stumbled upon my online search for information, is Matt Mason's lecture, expresses more or less the information about piracy I agree with:
